Sustainability often begins with small, practical actions — and with people who are willing to take responsibility together. This is exactly where the Ludwigswerkstätten e. V. come in.

The non-profit organisation is dedicated to the conscious use of resources. At its core is the Repair Café — a place where everyday items are repaired together instead of being thrown away.

More than just repairing

The Ludwigswerkstätten are far more than a repair initiative. They create space for exchange, learning and collaboration. Volunteers support visitors in repairing devices, explain technical backgrounds and share practical skills.

This approach brings sustainability into everyday life while fostering a strong sense of community. People connect, support one another and experience how responsible consumption can work in practice.

Growing through new spaces

With new premises, the association continues to grow and expand its activities. Functional and sustainably sourced furnishings play an important role in this development. We are therefore delighted that our donated furniture is now part of this space and contributes to its use.
